Got it to work!

Who is a happy camper? This girl! I finally got my run to upload to Garmin Connect!!! Yay!! Today I had 4 miles on the books...I went 4.57 but 0.57 miles of that is a warm up and cool down...but I did 4 miles of running! It was so nice to be outside! It goes by so much faster that way. It was overcast outside which is my favorite for running. When I was at 2 miles I saw another woman running towards me, she was heavier too and so I knew I was going to say something! As she was approaching I said, "Hi!" and then, "Great job girl!" to which she excitedly looked up, smiled from ear to ear and said, "Thank you!!! You Too!!" I think we both ran a little faster after that! ;) The power of an encouraging word! It's funny that happened today because my cousin, Stephanie, posted an amazing snippet on my Facebook that was extremely encouraging! I ran along the Bosque today...and I remembered to take a picture to share with y'all! I think the picture speaks for itself as to why I love running there:

Not too bad for having been snapped while running!
So here are a few graphs from my Garmin Connect that I have been eagerly awaiting to share with you all!! :D

So my actual miles were like 13:10 minute miles...but with my walking warm up and cool down my average pace was 13:35! I'm so so so so excited about my Garmin and all this data! Yes, I'm a bit of a nerd! So...where you see that little dip shortly after 50 minutes is where my run got a little tricky...you see...I landed on a rock that went straight through my shoe and was poking my heel...well I tried to pull it out but it was way too deep and I was so close to finishing that I didn't want to stop and pull it out...I figured it would be extra motivation to finish ;) This is what I found when I completed my run:

It may look harmless...

But it hurt!
Yes, I was happy to have completed that run! :) The rest of my day was spent running around town finishing some errands and then I got to go bowling for a friends birthday party! Yes, I ate cake...and gummy bears...and I finished below my calorie goal! It was very hard, however, to come home and not snack or eat again...so I drank a coke zero, a glass of water, a cup of tea, and then another glass of water! It worked pretty well...and got my pee a nice light yellow color!

Well that is all I have for now! I hope everyone has a marvelous Easter tomorrow! I'm thinking I will probably do my 3 miler tomorrow but I'm still undecided. I don't have any definite Easter plans...so I'm just gonna play it all by ear! Oh! I have one more exciting bit to share...I bought a new pair of pants because I'm tired of having soggy bottom pants...and I'm excited to say I'm now a size 16! That's plus size...I haven't tried on "regular" jeans...but I don't know that my calves are small enough yet to fit into regular jeans...but I haven't tried so I couldn't say for sure! Anyways..that was a huge surprise and very exciting! Okay! Now I'm done writing!
